Lei Low and Chill: Tiki Bar in The Heights Celebrates 3rd Year Anniversary
If you think Tiki bars are a thing of the past you’ve obviously not visited this hidden gem located in a small strip mall in the northern area of The Heights. Lei Low, at 6412 North Main celebrated its 3rd year anniversary in style with a lively crowd and rum fueled exotic cocktails flowing from the front all the way to the back patio.
I was introduced to Lei Low by a close friend that lives directly behind the bar’s patio. When I visit, we always make it a point to walk over and have a few cocktails because, well its right there and that’s justification enough! The bar’s decor is made up of various sections of exotica and jungle themes, along with vintage artwork hanging from the walls. While the drinks are strong and craft-made consisting mostly of various types and ages of rum, the true treasure here is the staff. The staff is by far one of the most attentive and knowledgeable around, and they always make it a point to serve you with a smile. I’d like to think they’re just that nice, or they know the drink they’re serving is about to knock you flat on your ass! Regardless, Lei Low is definitely the spot to lay low and chill.
